Who we are?

At Lily of the Valley Cupcakery and Café we are a small family owned and operated business. We have been around for roughly 8 years originally in Montgomery County, Pa earning the title of top cupcakes in Montco. That title was pure JOY to receive being that our specialty is gourmet cupcakes. After almost 4 years in Montgomery County, we decided that it was time for a change, and we relocated to the Germantown Section of Philadelphia.

Lily of the Valley Cupcakery after a year and a half has finally found its home. But what we did not know was that covid-19 would hit us less than a year of into our new location. Yes, with the grace of God we made it through with many bumps and bruises. Our business took a hit but yet still determined. Determined……… to get back where we were before covid.

And here we are again, yet another relocation and where we are today.

Through fasting and praying my husband and I are building yet another happy home at 26 w. Maplewood Mall still in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. We believe that everything happens for a reason and that you should never give up on your dreams. One thing to remember is that, if entrepreneurship was easy then everyone would do it.

In saying all that……

We pride ourselves baking from scratch and we use nothing but the best ingredients. If you are looking for that fresh baked right out the oven grandma taste, we have nailed it! How? Our motto, to be better than the day before so we are always in the kitchen baking up new and exciting recipes. You can always anticipate something new and unexpected on our menu because no day is ever the same.

Visiting us at our cafe…

You will be greeted by our family-oriented staff, and yes you will see my husband and me. Afterall we are the bakers. Need to get out the office, looking for a place to work? Are you a student, need a place to study alone or with a group? We have free WiFi to suit those needs. Looking for that quite place to cozy up and read a good book or better yet a nice place to plan a date? Looking for an event space for your small gather of 25 people or less, we got you covered. Our cafe area was thoughtfully designed with you in mind. So, what better way to spend your day or event with us and some #puresweethappiness.
